Exhibition in Genoa: 2050 planet needs you

Interactive exhibition “2050. The planet needs you” arrives in Genoa from London. The educational and entertaining exposition clearly shows through special digital devices and virtual guides how the world in which we live depends on our habits.

What will life be like in 2050? What will we eat and how to move? What will be our houses? The answers to these questions depend on ourselves and on the understanding that how we will live tomorrow depends on our lifestyle today. And just to explain what habits and behavior are the most acceptable from the point of view of sustainable development of the planet, in Genoa in “Wow! Science Center ”from November 16 to February 9, 2014 will be held the exhibition" 2050. The planet needs you. "

The exposition is presented by the London Museum of Science. (real masters of entertainment) in collaboration with the Italian organization "Codice. Idee per la Cultura". The exhibition is an interactive program during which a visitor can measure their own environmental impact and learn how to change habits and behavior that are harmful to our planet.

The whole process looks like an interactive video game in which cute virtual heroes take us to a seemingly distant, but actually so close, year 2050. Moreover, guests of the exhibition will be able to determine for themselves, choosing from the proposed test questions the closest option to them, what the world of the future will look like. All questions are divided into 4 main blocks:

  • where we will live and how our houses will look;
  • what we will eat and how to store products;
  • by what means of transport we prefer to move;
  • how we will have fun, spend the weekend, chat and dress.

At the end of the exposition, visitors will be given their personal Planet Maps with the results obtained in all sectors. So after visiting the exhibition, everyone will be able to find out how much his lifestyle affects the environment, and how you can change some habits in order to less harm the world in which we live. In addition to the program described, the exhibition will present a multimedia show about the four elements (water, earth, air and fire), as well as animation scientists will conduct entertaining lessons to familiarize even the smallest guests with nature and its laws.

Although the exhibition program is designed for young visitors, who will be the main characters in the described year 2050, it will be interesting for adults due to various entertaining practical tasks. After all, each of us can make an invaluable contribution to solving even the most serious problems of mankind, such as global warming, overpopulation, lack of water and food, and the depletion of traditional energy sources.

The cost of tickets for two adults and one child is from 18 to 32 euros, depending on the selected seminars. For more information, see the official website www.wowscienza.it

This coastal city with more than two thousand years of history has long been chosen as a place for a luxurious vacation by both Italians themselves and tourists from all over the world. Rimini gained its fame as a resort town in the summer of 1843, when the first Privileged Beach was opened here, on which European aristocrats and celebrities gathered, who later built luxurious villas and mansions on the coast for a more comfortable stay.
