Biography

Singer and composer, TV presenter Toto Kutuno was born on 07/07/1943 in the Italian region of Toscana (Toscana) in the small town of Fozdinovo (Fosdinovo). The head of the boy’s family served in the navy and the family had to move a lot in connection with business trips.

The talent of his father - the ability to play the trumpet - rendered an invaluable service to his capable son. Toto began to learn to play musical instruments early.

At age 7, he became a drummer in his father's group and began to learn to play the guitar and accordion. Keyboards, trumpet, saxophone - all this was easily given to little Cutugno thanks to perseverance and diligence.

First successes

The childhood and youth of the future world celebrity took place in La Spezia (the eastern neighborhood of Riviera, a city on the shores of the Ligurian Sea (mar Ligure)), where his father was transferred to the service. At 13, Salvatore decided to try his hand at a regional accordion competition. His parents did not expect that his son would take at least some place, but supported in the desire to participate.
